Great success for the WSA player Tamolwan Khetkuen.

The 16-year-old Thai woman, since the founding of the Werner Schlager Academy under the tutelage of the WSA, living in Schwechat and already in the squad for the first team of Champions League semi-finalist SVS STRÖCK, won the (scoring for the ITTF Junior Tour) tournament in Noumea (Caledonia).

Khetkuen who aims to participate in the Youth Olympic Games next year in Nanjing has made an important step in this direction by winning this tournament where she has beaten a true superiority of Korea.

In the semifinal she won against Yoon Hiobin 4-2, in the final she excelled with a 4-0 win over Kim Yedam (also Korea).

To top it all off Tamolwan Khetkuen succeeded in the team competition with her Canadian partner Anqi Luo and the two made silver in the double.
