During a press conference at the Vienna Marriott Hotel, the representatives of the European Table Tennis Union (represented by ETTU President Stefano Bosi), the Austrian Association (with President Dr. Gottfried Forsthuber) and the Werner Schlager Academy (CEO Martin Sörös) signed a cooperation agreement for the Table Tennis Championships (4 to 13 October 2013).

The Championships will be held in the Werner Schlager Academy and the Multiversum Schwechat and bring about 1,400 accredited persons to Schwechat. Up to 3,000 fans are expected each day of competition. By far the largest sporting event ever thus will take place in the Airport City. Connected with a tremendous added value in the calculated amount of approximately EUR 3 million.

The event will see athletes from 50 countries at the start and ETTU President Stefano Bosi scattered exactly six months before the EC flowers towards the organizers: "The Austrian Association and the representatives of the Werner Schlager Academy are full professionals. Therefore, it will be a great event. I am convinced, "explained the Italian.

At the General Assembly of the ITTF during the World Championships in Paris (13 - 20 May) Stefano Bosi, as he surprisingly announced during the press conference, will compete as a challenger of ITTF President Adham Sharara.
